Voûte Digital Advertising B.V., Lange Nieuwstraat 191, 3111 AJ Schiedam, the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce 24370167), is responsible for the processing of personal data via visitdoha.com.
What data we collect
We only process data you provide yourself: through the advertising request form or general contact form on our Contact page (name, email address, company name, phone number, website, and optionally a logo, photos or a video link), through the Marbella property enquiry form (name, email, country, message), and, with your permission, anonymised visitor statistics through Google Analytics.
Purpose of the processing
Contact, advertising request and property enquiry data is used to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, to set up your listing on visitdoha.com. Analytics data is used to understand how visitors use the site and to improve it. We never sell your data to third parties.
Photo submissions ("Share Your Doha Moment")
If you submit a photo through the "Share Your Doha Moment" feature on any page of this site, we process the name, email address, photo and caption you provide. The legal basis for this is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given through the checkboxes on the submission form. Your photo and caption may be published on this site, with credit to the name you provide; your email address is used only to contact you about your submission and is never published or shown publicly.
To prevent spam and abuse of this feature, we also process your IP address in hashed (pseudonymised) form together with your email address, to limit submissions to one per 24 hours per visitor. This processing is based on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in keeping the feature usable and free of abuse. The data collected for this purpose is minimal, kept for 30 days, and never published. Hashing an IP address reduces the risk to you, but it remains personal data under the GDPR for as long as we can technically link it back to a request, so the rights described below apply to it in full.
Submitted photos that are not reviewed within 30 days, and photos we decide not to publish, are deleted. Published photos are kept until you ask us to remove them.
If people other than you are recognisable in a submitted photo, the person submitting the photo confirms they have that person's permission to share it. If you appear in a photo submitted by someone else and want it removed, contact us using the details below; you do not need to have submitted the photo yourself to request this.
This feature is intended for visitors aged 16 or older, in line with Article 8 GDPR. If you believe a submission was made by someone younger without appropriate consent, please contact us.
Retention period
Contact, advertising request and property enquiry details are not kept longer than necessary to handle your enquiry or maintain an active listing.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, and the right to object to or restrict processing. Send a request through our contact form. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
